Vehicles that are found to be violating rules and regulations will now be impounded for 60 days, rather than the earlier 30.
The decision to double the period mentioned in executive bylaws of the 2014 Traffic Law was issued by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa in the latest edition of the Official Gazette .
