Pizza Hut is turning heads and stomachs over in Hong Kong after introducing a brand new pizza that will be topped with shredded snake meat.
The American fast-food franchise released information about its newest creation, which is in collaboration with Ser Wong Fun, a century-old Hong Kong restaurant.
The all-new pizza will contain shredded snake meat, black mushrooms, and Chinese dried ham, all laid over a nine-inch pizza with abalone sauce instead of tomato sauce.
Snake meat has long been consumed in Hong Kong, especially during the winter months.
Many believe that snake meat has medicinal properties, improving skin conditions and warming up the body. Snake meat is eaten throughout Southeast Asia.
Pizza Hut Hong Kong, in a statement, said the "nourishing meat can boost blood circulation".
The bizarre treat will be available to Hong Kong residents until November 22.
