Muscat: Patrons returned to mosques across Oman over the weekend as Friday prayers resumed after a hiatus brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.
The country's Supreme Committee's decided to issue the openings with specific protocols including, entry to only fully vaccinated individuals, maintenance of social distancing, special carpets and a face mask mandate.
The sermon was also broadcast live on Oman TV.
