A Saudi national has been sentenced to seven years in a Kuwaiti prison for forging a Kuwaiti passport and impersonating the son of someone who went missing in 1995.
He reportedly claimed benefits of KD498,000 (approximately BD 606,872) through salaries and housing care from Kuwait's Justice Ministry and the Public Authority for Manpower.
The court also fined him an amount equivalent to the amount he fraudulently acquired.
