Kuwait: Police arrested 41 people for running a homosexual prostitution racket at a massage parlour in Kuwait City.
According to a report in Arabic daily Al Rai, the men, all Asians, were providing sexual services for KD10 (AED121 approximately) under the guise of full body massage.
The prostitution racket was busted in a raid conducted by a ministerial joint committee made up of representatives from the interior ministry, the immigration and the manpower authority.
The committee was tasked with ensuring full compliance with the labour market regulations.
An undercover member of the committee was sent to the parlour to negotiate the sexual session and pay the KD10 fee.
Once the committee became sure of gross violation of the law by massage parlour, it conducted the raid and arrested those implicated.
“During the raid, we found sexual toys and substances, women’s underwear and make up kits in some parlours,” Mohammad Al Dhufairi, head of the joint committee, said.
“We are serious about implementing the law and we will continue our zero-tolerance policy towards any violation,” he said.
