Riyadh: A Russian doctor living in Saudi Arabian has been arrested on charges of possession of drugs.
A police patrol caught the medical practitioner and confiscated 14 amphetamine pills and 5 grammes of cannabis which were hidden in a packet of cigarettes.
The doctor who works as a maxillofacial surgeon in a public hospital was accompanied by a Saudi citizen on the highway between Al-Taif and Al-Baha.
They were both referred to the anti-narcotics directorate in the Governorate to face legal action.
