Abu Dhabi: An Arab transvestite is facing trial for posting pictures of himself in women’s clothing on his Instagram account.
The Criminal Court in Ras Al-Khaimah heard the defendant and adjourned the case till April 18 to hear the defence lawyer.
The RAK police charged him with online depravity, dressing in women’s clothes, resisting arrest and possessing alcoholic drinks.
He admitted to wearing women’s clothes and told the court that he has felt more like a female than a male since childhood.
