Riyadh: A locally-manufactured vehicle has been named after King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
Named ‘Salman Al-Hazm,’ the vehicle is on display at the Armed Forces Exhibition for Spare Parts and Materials (AFED), being held by the Ministry of Defence in Riyadh.
‘Al-Hazm’ is the Arabic translation for ‘Operation Decisive Storm’ in Yemen.
According to vice chairman of the car manufacturing company, the armoured vehicle can carry 8 soldiers at a time, reported local Arabic daily Sabq.
He said that ‘Salman Al Hazm’ can be used in defensive and offensive operations.
