MANAMA: Saudi-based Al Rajhi Bank has been named the Best Performing Bank for Global and Mena regions at the 2019 World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) Performance Awards.
Adnan Yousif, president and chief executive of Al Baraka Banking Group and chairman of Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB), presented the awards during a gala dinner to top-performing Islamic financial institutions based on their performance in the WIBC Leaderboard – a groundbreaking performance assessment tool aimed at enabling Islamic financial institutions to benchmark their performance against their peers .
