Dubai is making waves on the tourism news radar with the Titanic II, which is supposed to set sail by 2018.
The ship is likely to set sail from Jiangsu, China, to Dubai, unlike the original’s trip from Southampton to New York.
The Titanic replica will be 270 metres long, 53 metres high, and weighing 40,000 tonnes, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
Titanic II has been in the news on and off since 2012, mostly for being a replica of the ill-fated original.
The ship would have nine floors and 840 cabins, capable of accommodating 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members.
Blue Star Line marketing director James McDonald told The Independent, "The new Titanic will of course have modern evacuation procedures, satellite controls, digital navigation and radar systems and all those things you'd expect on a 21st century ship."
Just like the original Titanic, Titanic II will have many of the original features, including Turkish baths, a squash court, a grand staircase, swimming pools and first, second and third-class tickets for sale.
Pricing for Titanic II's maiden voyage has not yet been set.
