A proposal to allocate one or more government plots for the sale and purchase of new and used vehicles has been backed by municipal councillors.
They said that the initiative, spearheaded by five MPs led by Strategic Thinking Bloc member Bassema Mubarak, represented a crucial step towards addressing traffic congestion and unregulated vehicle trading .
