Dubai: Unique car number plates bearing the letter “U” will be put for sale on Sunday (November 17) for the first time.
Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said that the plates bearing the letter "U" will have three, four or five numbers.
“Buyers wishing to take part in the auction can log on to the RTA website “rta.ae”," said vehicle registration director Jamal Al Sada.
He said that the new number plates can be bought online directly via the above-mentioned RTA electronic portal. For more information and queries call toll free 80090.
