Manama: Jamie Bowen and playing partner Mike Brightmore narrowly won week three of the new Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at Royal Golf Club (RGC) with a nett score of 19.
A count back was needed to separate the pair from young runners-up Taimur Malik and Yaseen Le Falher who achieved the same score.
Husband and wife David and Dena Wales clinched third place with a nett score of 18 while nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Alistair Rushton and Yeon Gul Kim respectively.
Over 30 golfers took part in the Rainbow Challenge Tournament despite the chilly weather. Porsche branded tees and flags adorned the golf course and a Porsche Cayenne GTS was displayed on the course for the duration of the competition.
RGC’s tournament coordinator Sohail Sing presented the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
The Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series takes place at RGC every Monday evening.
The nine-hole competitions are open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night with tee off at 6.30pm (shotgun start).
