A Karnataka cultural festival called ‘Sambhrama 2015’ is set to take place this weekend at the Indian Club.
The three-day event begins tomorrow and will showcase a variety of fine art forms. Tomorrow, award-winning playback singer Rameshchandra and his team will present a musical programme, accompanied by local dancers from 7.30pm.
Bahrain-based artists will present a Tulu drama titled Ajane Aavontundu on Friday followed by award-winning dancer and choreographer Sahana Bhat’s dance drama based on Indian mythology on Saturday.
The dance drama will be performed by locally-trained young dancers and Ms Bhat will also present some classical as well as other dance forms on the occasion.
