Dubai: A number of services at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) will be temporarily suspended for three days from September 30.
The bank will be undergoing a systems upgrade, reported Gulf News.
During the three-day period, customers will be able to make withdrawals from ATM machines and use their credit and debit cards for in-store and online purchases, however, they won't receive SMS notifications for their transactions.
“Branches will be open, however, most services will be unavailable,” the bank said in an advisory posted on its website. “Cash services, including deposits and withdrawals will be unavailable.”
Cheque collections, service requests and trade services related applications/ documents will be accepted at the branch but they will be processed only from October 3 onwards.
"From 4pm Saturday, 30th of September to 8am Tuesday, 3rd of October, our services will be limited, as we are enhancing our systems to serve you better," says an automated message from the bank's call centre.
The following services will be temporarily unavailable during the three-day period:
Mobile banking
Internet banking
Cash and cheque deposit
Cheque payment and encashment
Funds transfer
Direct debit and standing instructions
