Founded in 1983 by Krishnan Nair Padmanabhan, who is better known as Mr Pappan, and his business partner Ahmed Mahmood Al Jaber, the company commenced operations in the liquid waste disposal and cleaning sector.
Since those initial 12 months, Al Tawfeek Maintenance Services has gone from strength to strength and has given the highest emphasis on a safe, clean and healthy environment by making sure to develop and use state-of-the-art technology.
After commencing operations, the company swiftly diversified its business operations into new sectors such as skip and compactor services, hydro-jetting and drainage clearance, cleaning and removals and air conditioning service and maintenance.
Today, Al Tawfeek Maintenance’s local partner is Mr Al Jaber’s son Fawzi Ahmed Al Jaber.
In 2010, Mr Pappan’s son Pregith Padmanabhan joined as a director to oversee day-to-day activities, enabling his father to proudly designate management responsibilities to his son following retirement in the near future.
Al Tawfeek Maintenance Services has a strong fleet of 90 vehicles and more than 350 employees that are both Bahraini and non-Bahrainis.
Additionally, the company boasts specialty equipment and machinery consisting of vacuum tankers, refuse collectors, skip loaders, moving trucks and hydro-jetting machines.
This ensures the company is well-placed in the market to provide the highest standard of service possible to its clients.
Skip and compactor services involve the placement of skip containers and stationary compactors that are emptied, disinfected and replaced promptly 24/7.
Collections, compacting and disposal of associated waste are carried out in compliance with the strictest safety and hygiene standards.
Drain line blocks are cleared under the hydro jetting and drainage clearance service provided by Al Tawfeek Maintenance, which also provides cleaning for pavement tiles and service stations.
Industrial cleaning both inside and out, is executed for a variety of businesses including malls, multi-storey buildings, offices, factories, shops and more.
Specialised housekeeping and janitorial services are available on a contract or fee basis.
