Abu Dhabi: A snake forced the closure of a school in Sharjah for two days. Students spotted the reddish poisonous reptile crawling in the courtyard of Al-Batha’a Primary School for Girls in Al-Madam, which sparked a state of panic. All the classrooms and other facilities were sprinkled with pesticides.
The employees did their best to kill the snake, but the venomous reptile managed to flee to its hideout. A teacher said that this is not the first time a snake was spotted at the school.
