CRICKET – BAHRAIN will host the first-ever Global Level 3 Coaching Course in association with the International Cricket Council (ICC) from Monday to May 30.
This is the first time the Level 3 Coaching Course is conducted on a global platform. Over 20 coaches from Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas are expected to take part in it.
“We are proud to welcome top coaches. This is an historic milestone not only for Bahrain but for all nations striving for cricketing excellence,” said Bahrain Cricket Federation (BCF) advisory board chairman Mohammad Mansoor at a Press conference.
Hosting this prestigious ICC programme affirms Bahrain’s “growing profile as a hub for global sports,” Mansoor added.
It’s a powerful platform for sharing knowledge, values, and excellence, said federation president Sami Ali.
“It signifies strong collaboration among nations, educators, and emerging leaders of the game,” added BCF general secretary Kishore Kewalram.
The initiative supports the mission to position Bahrain as a regional hub for sports development and tourism and is in line with the vision of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the organisers said in a statement.
The course will be inaugurated by GSA chief executive Dr Abdulrahman Askar.
