KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Shaikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah received an invitation from Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), due on July 3.
His Highness the Crown Prince Shaikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah received a similar invitation.
Kuwait's Foreign Minister Abdullah Al Yahya was handed both invitations during his meeting with Egypt Ambassador to Kuwait Osama Shaltout, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday.
