CRICKET – GHANI CC secured a thrilling super over win against Awan CC in a Division C T20 match of the Khalid Bin Hamad Cricket League.
In an unprecedented showdown, Awan CC pulled off a sensational chase to level Ghani CC’s 187-run total, resulting in a heart-stopping tie. The match featured explosive batting, dramatic collapses, and a last-ball finish that left fans breathless.
Haider Ali’s 51-ball 104, including 10 sixes, lifted Ghani to 187. In reply, Awan CC levelled the total with the help of Waqas Amjad (48 off 27) and Dilbar Miran (38 not out off 16).
For Super, Awan, batting first, could make only four runs for the loss of two wickets and Ghani chased the target comfortably with three balls to spare.
