BAHRAIN Olympic Committee (BOC) vice president and Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) vice president for the third Asian Youth Games Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa attended the 45th General Assembly of the OCA in Kuwait yesterday.
Shaikh Isa underscored Bahrain’s commitment to hosting the third Asian Youth Games.
He emphasised that all resources and efforts would be dedicated to ensuring a well-organised event, supported by His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and SCYS first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and BOC president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa
BOC secretary general Faris Al Kooheji also participated in the meeting and gave a presentation on the Media Committee.
