The Kuwaiti interior ministry announced on Saturday that the arrest of five individuals in possession of 14 kilograms of narcotics as well as 9,000 psychoactive pills.
A statement by the ministry revealed that the suspects - two Kuwaitis, two illegal residents, and a Syrian national - were arrested for holding in possession an assortment of narcotic materials.
The statement added that the suspects were transferred to legal authorities for due process.
