GOLF – ALI Al Kowari and Alexandra Heluin won the title in their respective categories in the annual club championship at The Royal Golf Club, played over the weekend.
Al Kowari emerged victorious amongst the men after shooting scores of 72 and 75 for a total of 147. Heluin took home the ladies’ crown after shooting scores of 93 and 89 for a total of 182.
A total of 67 members took part in the club championship, which is the pinnacle of the members’ calendar and is viewed as the most coveted title.
The event saw particularly difficult conditions with wind and rain.
The prize presentation took place in the members’ lounge after the completion of play and the prizes were handed out by members’ committee member Jeff Sanders.

Ladies’ gross champion: Alexandra Heluin 182 (93+89)
