Darts star Paolo Nebrida has just made history in Bahrain after becoming the first-ever player from the Philippines to win an event in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Series of Darts.

Nebrida triumphed in his first-round match-up of the 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), upsetting former world champion Rob Cross of England 6-3 in an exciting best-of-11-legs clash, which kicked off this evening's exciting programme being held in front of a sold-out crowd.
The 30-year-old will now compete in tomorrow’s quarter-finals at BIC.
