Bahrain is set to host a historic charity football event, the Unity Kickoff – Play for a Cause, on January 31 at the Bahrain National Stadium.
Gates open at 5pm and the match kicks off at 7.30pm.
Under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, this landmark event is organised by Dallah Promotions in collaboration with the Bahrain Football Association, the GSA, and the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.
The event will unite football enthusiasts, content creators, and celebrities in a thrilling match featuring some of the most celebrated legends of the game. The star-studded lineup includes John Terry, Roberto Carlos, Yaya Touré, Marco Materazzi, Patrick Kluivert, Dimitar Berbatov, Luis Nani, Obi Mikel, Ali Al Habsi, Clarence Seedorf, Julio Cesar and Michael Owen.
In addition to these legends, the event will welcome a host of influencers and global celebrities who are joining forces to raise awareness and funds for a noble cause.
The Unity Kickoff is not just about football – it’s about making a difference. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Royal Humanitarian Foundation to support initiatives aimed at improving education, alleviating poverty, and providing aid to orphans and underprivileged communities in Palestine, war-torn regions, and beyond.
The event will also feature live entertainment, special halftime performances, and a VIP gala dinner on January 30, where guests will mingle with the football stars and influential figures.
