Muscat - The national exercise codenamed “Full Scale Shield 2024” concluded at Muscat International Airport today.
The drill was carried out by military and security services and some units of the State's Administrative Apparatus, acting in cooperation with Oman Airports company and partners concerned in the civil aviation sector.
To measure the level of readiness and response of various sectors, the exercise envisaged many risk hypotheses, scenarios and dilemmas.
The drill was aimed at enhancing coordination and integration among the authorities concerned. The organizers sought to unify national efforts to deal with exceptional and emergency situations to ensure the safety of civil aviation.
