The 62-year-old artist slapped a fan at the wedding of the son of Mansour Amer – founder of Amer Group. Video of the incident has gone viral, where a fan can be seen attempting to take a photo with Amr before getting slapped by the visibly agitated singer.
Amr, who is no stranger to controversies, has divided the internet with his actions. Some netizens believe that the fan touched the singer inappropriately and it was a natural response on Amr's part. However, not all are convinced by that logic. Many believe physical assault in such a scenario can't be justified.
