CRICKET – Australian cricketing legend David Warner has a few words of advice for Bahraini cricketers.
The opening batsman, who recently retired from Test cricket after scoring 8,786 runs with 26 centuries in 112 matches, met up with the Bahrain Cricket Federation’s advisory board chairman Mohammed Mansoor in Dubai where Warner is captaining the Dubai Capitals in the ongoing International League T20 (ILT20) tournament.
“Bahrain cricket players,” Warner said in a video with Mansoor standing alongside him, “train hard, on and off the field. Practice hard with your skill set. Make sure that you watch the cricket ball and do everything to have a clear mind. Be brave and be calm in everything that you do. I wish you all the very best and all the best success in the future.”
