Bahrain beat Jordan 1-0 in their last Group E game of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup at the Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar, to top the four-team group with six points and qualify for the round of 16.
The Reds will now play Japan, who finished second in Group D, in their first knock-out game on January 31 at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.
