FOOTBALL – The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) organised live screenings of the Bahrain-Malaysia 2023 AFC Asian Cup match on Saturday evening at four different cinema locations with fans able to secure their free tickets by registering themselves through scanning a QR code to reserve their seats. “The response to our initiative to support the Bahrain football team in the AFC Asian Cup was huge with many football fans packing into the cinemas,” the BOC’s head of marketing and promotions Mai Albinkhalil said. “The initiative was in partnership with Cineco Cinemas with the match being screened at their theatres in Seef Mall, Wadi Al Sail Mall, Al Liwan and Oasis Mall in Juffair.”
