Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kuwait on December 21-22, the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the Gulf country in 43 years.
Kuwait is home to a large population of Indian expatriates and is also a supplier of crude oil and LPG to India.
According to reports, there are plans to put in place a maritime component between the two nations.
