A Major clean-up operation is set to be launched to clear blocked irrigation channels following complaints of stagnant water contributing to a rise in mosquito infestations in several areas across the country.
Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry Plantation director Abbas Arafat told the Capital Trustees Board that maintenance work would be carried out urgently to unclog the systems .
