CEREMONY – Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday laid the foundation stone for the Al Khalifa Military Sports Centre at the United Kingdom Naval Support Facility during a ceremony held under his patronage.
Shaikh Isa was received by UK Ambassador Alastair Long, Royal Navy Commodore Philip Dennis, and the UK Naval Support Facility Commanding Officer Commander Alex Savage, along with other senior Bahrain Defence Force officers.
Shaikh Isa highlighted the strength of the longstanding Bahrain-UK strategic partnership and noted that relations continue to advance thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
