SHOWJUMPING – THE Interior Ministry showjumping team grabbed first place in a major competition organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) at the Military Sports Federation in Raffa, under the patronage of Breef showjumping committee chairman Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
The team’s supervisor Major General Abdulaziz Mayouf Al Rumaihi dedicated the victory to Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his support and assistance to the riders, noting at the same time the diligent follow-up by Lieutenant General Tariq Al-Hassan, head of Public Security, to all sports teams during their participation in local, regional and international championships, which contributed to their achievements in various sports forums.
He also thanked Breef president Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and Shaikh Abdullah for the preparation, organisation and interest that led to the success of the competition’s activities, and the Military Sports Federation for their efforts in preparing the venue for the competition.
