The Saudi Tourism Authority, along with other Saudi entities, took part in Media Oasis, a Ministry of Media initiative currently underway (November 26 and 28) in France. Media Oasis aims at redefining media coverage by utilising modern technology in covering national events and global engagements.
The second international edition of Media Oasis is being held as the kingdom participates in the 173rd General Assembly meeting to select the country that will host Expo 2030.
The Saudi Tourism Authority is offering a wealth of information on Saudi destinations and tourism projects that have been or will be unveiled by 2030. It is also highlighting Saudi Arabia's natural, climatic and cultural diversity, its UNESCO World Heritage sites, facilities, ease of accessibility, advancements in the Air Connectivity Strategy, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies for safe and enjoyable tourism experiences.
The authority aims to showcase Saudi Arabia's readiness and capability to successfully host international events.
The second international edition of the Media Oasis and the fifth edition overall is proof of the kingdom's important media presence in global forums and international conferences, a statement said.
It redefines the concept of traditional media centres, and demonstrates the kingdom's transformative developments in various fields, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
