Leading Indian engineering and construction conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said one of its key units - L&T Energy Hydrocarbon - has secured an ultra-mega onshore project (in the range of over $1.8 billion) from a major client in the Middle East region.
This comes close on the heels of an ultra-mega project award win for a gas compression plant from the region.
Announcing the win, L&T said the scope of work for its Hydrocarbon Business includes engineering, procurement, & construction for gas processing plant consisting of Inlet Separation Facilities, Booster Compression System, Amine Gas Recovery Unit, Dehydration Unit, Mercury Removal Unit, NGL Recovery Unit and Sales Gas Compression System in new onshore facilities and its integration with existing Gas Processing Plants.
Upbeat by the ultra-mega order win, L&T Chairman & Managing Director S N Subrahmanyan said: "This is a huge order that will not only strengthen our balance sheet but also provide impetus to our demonstrated credentials in the Hydrocarbon EPC space. We are proud of our LTEH team."
