His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman and Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has affirmed that the endurance sport in Bahrain is on the right track, with the presence of a promising young generation of riders who are capable of bringing about more achievements at all levels.
Shaikh Nasser was speaking while receiving yesterday Royal Endurance Team riders, the winners of the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Riders and Juniors in the 120km race in Castelsagrat, France, with the participation of 70 jockeys from various countries.
He congratulated the jockeys as well as the administrative and technical staff for the global achievements, hailing the outstanding performances of the Bahraini riders, and commending the efforts of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation, led by its president, Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Nasser attributed the achievements of Bahraini sport to the unlimited support of His Majesty and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirming the leadership’s strong belief in the ability of Bahraini athletes.
