The 20th Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) will be held September 2-8 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) highlights the latest technologies, innovations and trends in equestrianism, falconry, hunting, camping and more.
The exhibition will be held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and the Emirates Falconry Club President under the theme “Sustainability and Heritage... A Reborn Aspiration.
The previous edition of Adihex achieved a leap in the number of participants and visitors, confirming its leading position among hunting professionals, enthusiasts, and amateurs as a global platform and the largest event of its kind in the Middle East and Africa.
It attracted 150,000 visitors from various countries, grew 20 per cent in total area to exceed 60,000 sq m, and was attended by more than 900 exhibitors and brands from 58 countries. Adihex was honoured by the visit of their Highnesses, dignitaries, decision-makers, merchants, and visitors from the UAE and GCC.
The Emirates Falconry Club is organising the 20th Adihex with sponsorship from the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, The International Fund for Houbara Conservation, and ADNEC, in addition to the exhibition partners, including the Mohamed bin Zayed Raptor Conservation Fund, the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, the European Institute for Falconry and Conservation, the International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey, the Dubai International Horse Fair, and the Game Fair in France.
The previous edition of the exhibition featured 127 speakers presenting their professional techniques, skills, and experiences in 134 specialised workshops distributed across four educational platforms: sustainability; outdoor adventures; arts and crafts; and connection with nature.
The event also hosted more than 150 live shows of birds of prey, Saluki dogs, police dogs, heritage displays, and sports, in addition to educational activities, innovative artistic, cultural, and scientific competitions, and auctions for camels, falcons, and horses.
