The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has recently appointed a representative sales team on-ground to promote Abu Dhabi as a destination across GCC countries.
Through the Experience Abu Dhabi destination brand, the sales team will handle operations to showcase Abu Dhabi's Emirati hospitality, natural landscapes, and cultural and leisure experiences. The on-ground team will be composed of industry experts across sales, marketing, and PR and will be located in seven GCC cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Kuwait, Muscat, Doha, and Manama.
The new sales team will focus on building relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and tourism stakeholders in the GCC region to enhance Abu Dhabi's presence in the market. The team will work towards increasing the number of visitors to Abu Dhabi by promoting the destination's diverse range of cultural and entertainment offerings, as well as its luxurious accommodations and world-class attractions.
The GCC region is an important market for Abu Dhabi's tourism industry, and the new sales team is expected to play a key role in strengthening Abu Dhabi's position as a leading destination in the region and attracting more visitors from the GCC countries.
