Bahrain’s under-23 football team will take on Estonia today in a friendly match in the kingdom as part of their training camp.
Twenty-eight players are taking part in the camp. They are: Salim Al Dosari, Abdulrahman Al Khayyat, Saad Abdulla (East Riffa), Ali Mohammed, Abdulla Al Qassab, Mahmoud Mohammed, Hassan Sameer, Sayyed Mahmoud Al Dosari, Abdulla Al Eker (Al Shabab), Nasser Jassim, Abdulhamid Hameed, Abdulrahman Aboud , Faisal Saleh (Riffa), Ali Sahwan, Saleh Khalil (Al Ahli), Nasser Abbas, Abdulla Bourashid (Malkiya), Jawad Al Qassab (Al Ettihad), Mohammed Hassan, Mustafa Mohammed, Isa Abdulla (Manama), Rashid Khalil, Talal Ibrahim (Isa Town), Mohammed Fadhel, Ramzi Abdulla (Muharraq), Jamal Ali (Al Hala), Sayyed Dhiya Amine (Sitra) and Salman Yunis (Al Hidd).
The national squad are scheduled to play two friendly games against the Estonian team as Bahrain are stepping up preparations ahead of the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024 qualifiers, to be held in September.
The national team lost 1-0 and drew 1-1 against Jordan in two friendly matches held last January.
Meanwhile, the senior team will take on Palestine tomorrow in a friendly match as part of their training camp.
Led by coach Helio Sousa, the national squad is also stepping up preparations to play Syria in another friendly match.
