Yachting Malta and VisitMalta have teamed up to showcase the Maltese Islands as a yachting holidays destination and boating craft and experiences at the Dubai International Boat Show 2023, taking place in Dubai from March 1-5.
VisitMalta will be exhibiting at the prestigious show for the first time accompanied by Yachting Malta, a public-private partnership between the Government of Malta and the Royal Malta Yacht Club.
Yachting Malta will be joining forces with the Super Yacht Industry Network Malta to showcase Malta not only as a Yacht cruising destination but also as a destination for refits, registrations and all ancillary services including wintering, hardstanding and crew training.
Representatives from VisitMalta will also be present at the same stand to showcase the tourism attractions of the Maltese islands of Malta, Comino and Gozo, especially as a sailing and diving destination that is coupled with history and culture, heritage sites and culinary experiences.
At the stand, VisitMalta representatives will launch and introduce the destination’s latest marine-themed holiday offerings of luxury private sailing & diving holiday packages, tailored exclusively for the UAE and GCC residents.
Visitors to the stand (MLL-115) are also invited to go into the draw to win two return business class tickets with Emirates to Malta, with the winner being announced on the VisitMalta Middle East Instagram page (@VisitMaltaME) on March 5.
As a well-known yachting and boating destination for leisure and international sporting events, Malta also offers some of the best diving experiences in the Mediterranean Sea. It has diverse natural reefs and exceptional underwater caves and rock formations. Adding to the experience the Maltese islands are also known for their year-round good weather conditions, crystal-clear visibility and mild water temperatures.
As testimony to Malta’s scuba diving pedigree as leading Scuba diving destination in Europe and one of the best diving sites in the world, Malta earned second place in the ‘Top diver destination of the year 2018’ awards by one of the world's longest-established diving websites; Divernet.
For both novices and experts alike, Malta is home to top-rated scuba schools and marine clubs.
For marine sports, Malta hosts regular maritime events and festivals that attract thousands of yacht and boat owners every year for business and leisure travel, including the annual Rolex Middle Sea Race, which this year will be held from October 21, 2023. - TradeArabia News Service
