BAHRAIN’S skies are set to sparkle on December 16 with a fantastic fireworks display to celebrate National Day and His Majesty King Hamad’s accession to the throne.
The sensational spectacle will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit at 7pm. Entry is free.
The kingdom will also glow this week as festive lights twinkle in various parts, including the Shaikh Khalifa AlKabeer Highway starting tomorrow at 6pm, and the 16th December Avenue, Adliya Block 338, King Faisal Highway, King Fahad Causeway and Saar Avenue 13 from Saturday at 7pm.
A National Day festival will be staged at the Heritage Village, from Friday until December 19. Featuring an array of activities for everyone to enjoy, the event will be held in Ras Hayan from 5pm to 11pm. The ticket starts from BD1.
The Muharraq Governorate will also host a series of special activities to commemorate the momentous anniversary at Arad Fort on Saturday from 3pm to 10pm.
Folkloric Ardah dances will be performed around the kingdom starting Saturday at 4pm in Riffa Fort, at 4pm on Sunday in Zallaq and at 4pm on December 13 at Khalifa City.
A Hunainiyah event will be held at Hunainiyah Park on December 14 and 15 at 4pm.
Even Bahrain Bikers are getting into the spirit of things with a Bahrain Riders Parade on Sunday, 7pm.
Enjoy the stylistic designs of Bahraini fashion and more at the National Day Fashion Show at Suq Al Baraha, from December 15-18, from 3pm to 11pm.
