Elon Musk has credited the long-running sit-com 'The Simpsons' for predicting his takeover of Twitter.
In a tweet, Musk stated that the animated TV-show predicted his takeover in an episode from 2015.

In the episode titled "The Musk Who Fell to Earth", Musk arrives in a rocket near a birdhouse with a sign that reads 'Home Tweet Home'.
Over the course of its 700-episode run, 'The Simpsons' have been credited with successfully predicting quite a lot of important events, including Donald Trump becoming President, and Germany winning the FIFA World Cup in 2014.
Musk's tweet quickly went viral amassing over 250,000 likes and nearly 20,000 retweets.
