Beban Juniors, a reality TV show where young entrepreneurs aged between six and 17 pitch their projects to a panel of judges, premieres today at 6.45pm on Bahrain TV and YouTube.
This was announced by the show’s producer Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, and Injaz Bahrain.
The show aims to inspire the pursuit of entrepreneurship and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs, fostering a mindset of innovation, creativity, and business acumen.
Through the programme, viewers at home will have the ability to fund the projects presented on the show through Beban Reward-based crowdfunding (beban.me).
The aim of this initiative is to allow businesses and creatives to share their vision with the communities that will come together to fund them.
To thank the funders for their support, businesses will offer unique rewards related to the project, either what is being produced or an experience unique to the project.
Hope Fund chairman Aymen Almoayed commented: “Our mission in establishing Beban Juniors remains unwavering: to support the next generation of young entrepreneurs and showcase the immense talents and capabilities in Bahrain.
Through the introduction of rewards-based crowdfunding, we provide a channel for these ambitious young minds to validate their innovative business concepts in the market and allow young entrepreneurs to gain backing from people who know them and support them.”
Injaz Bahrain chairperson Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa said: “Equipping our youth with entrepreneurial skills goes beyond simply business skill development; it’s about forging a future defined by innovation, creativity, and resilience.
We are proud to be partnering with Hope Ventures to bring the ‘Beban Juniors’ vision to life. The programme will not only spotlight the aspirations of Bahraini youth but also empower them, providing a stage for their entrepreneurial spirit to shine.”
The show will continue to air every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday during Ramadan.
