Saudi Arabia has unveiled plans to introduce flying taxis for the transportation of Haj pilgrims this year.
Saudi Transport and Logistic Services Minister Saleh Al Jaser said the ministry will use technologies as well as more flexible and faster transport modes, like flying taxis and drones, to facilitate the pilgrims’ movement while performing Haj rituals, according to Al Arabiya channel.
“There is currently a lot of competition among various transportation companies to provide a practical product in the upcoming years.”
