Riffa were crowned Super Cup champions for the second time in a row last night, after defeating East Riffa 4-3 on penalties 4-3.
The teams were tied 1-1 at the end of normal time at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium.
East Riffa took the lead in the 33rd minute of the match through Jordanian Said Mourjan.
Mohammed Marhoon equalised for Riffa in the dying moments of the match from a direct free kick.
His teammate Kumail Al Aswad earlier missed an opportunity to equalise through a penalty kick.
Mahmoud Al Bahr, Ali Hassan Said, Hazza Ali and Kumail Al Aswad scored their respective penalties while Mohammed Marhoon and Sayyed Hashim Isa missed.
For East Riffa, Faisal Boudahoum, Jassim Khalaif and Ali Nasser found the back of the net while Ahmed Rashid, Hamza, and Abdulla Ahmed Hassan failed.
Riffa was led by national coach Ali Ashour while Serbian coach Florin Matrouk led East Riffa.
Bahrain Football Association chairman Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa presented the trophy and gold medals to Riffa and the silver medals and runners-up prize to East Riffa.
