Kuwait has announced the successful operations of its massive, eco-friendly Clean Fuels Project (CFP), marking the country's standing in the global oil industry.
"This is a historic milestone," Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) chief executive Waleed Al Bader told Kuna, adding that the project is a major source of pride for the country.
It will open new markets and increase revenues of the Kuwaiti oil products as well as create more jobs, he added.
Environmental benefits of the CFP include reduction in carbon emissions as well as pollution through the production of high-quality, ultra-pure products that meet the strictest environmental standards worldwide.
