MANAMA: The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) and the Capital Municipality have agreed to settle the issue of municipal fees for a number of commercial outlets at the Manama Central Market except the electricity and water bills.
In a joint statement, they asserted that the arrears, though old or accumulated, must be settled in accordance with the law and regulations, indicating that the electricity service will not be cut off in case the arrears are paid in instalments .
