Mumbai: For the first time, actress Alia Bhatt would be seen in the role of a destitute worker from Bihar in upcoming film 'Udta Punjab'.
The 23-year-old actor, who is known for portraying urban girl in films, will be seen mouthing chaste Bihari dialogues in 'Udta Punjab'.
"Good morning!!! and here we go.. #AliaInUdtaPunjab," she posted on Twitter.
In the picture, an injured Alia is seen to be fleeing from some danger.
The looks of other actors -- Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh -- in the film were out earlier.
Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film deals with substance abuse in Punjab. It will hit theatres on June 17.
