Manama: Oversight of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) has been moved to the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry from the Central Bank of Bahrain with a view to making it easier and quicker for smaller companies to access public funding, Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Al Zayani has said.
In a statement issued after taking part in a roundtable meeting organised by Arab British Chamber of Commerce, Mr Al Zayani said the ministry would work as a facilitator for young entrepreneurs as they went through their life cycle from a startup to being a publicly listed and traded company .
